To the market

It’s 6:00am and I’m going to be heading out the door soon to go set up a booth at the Proctor Farmer’s Market in Tacoma. It’s a Surfrider event, and I’m thinking we’ll be trying to get the word out about plastics pollution, ban-the-bag initiatives and generally spreading some aloha. “Showing the flag,” is what we called it in the Air Force, just getting out in the community to remind the public that we are here and would love to help people get involved in the care and feeding of their community.
I’m also planning to have the Todd Fischer painting in the booth and to sell raffle tickets. If you’re in the neighborhood, come down and say hello.
