I gave a presentation this past weekend at the Surfrider summit in California about the Ikkatsu Expedition. It was fairly short – about 20 minutes – but it went well and it seemed like the audience was pretty engaged.
There’s a longer presentation scheduled this evening at the new Mountaineers hall in Tacoma. I’ll start around 7:00pm, maybe a few minutes after, and hold forth for an hour, maybe a few minutes less. There will be a lot more photos and stories… it will be a pretty good warm-up for the film. (Incidently, I’ll be selling tickets for the second showing of the film tonight as well. If you haven’t got yours yet, you should get them soon.) I also got the posters yesterday for the Ikkatsu Project, featuring Todd Fischer’s amazing painting “Pacific Coast Light.” There will be a few of those available as well.
So, if you’re in the neighborhood, come on down to the Mountaineers Hall tonight. It will be entertaining… I never know what I’m going to say.
