Blue

I’m not sure that we’ll be able to see it around here, but there’s a blue moon rising tonight. After a month of truly excellent weather and mostly clear skies, the clouds are back and the sky looks like clam chowder. I’m hoping it’s a passing thing, that we’ll get an Indian summer in September and fall will be held off for another four or five weeks anyway, but you never know. That might have been it.
But if you’re in a place where the skies are a bit clearer, tonight’s full moon is the second one this month, making it a fairly unusual occurrence. It looks like any other full moon – it isn’t really blue – but any full moon is worth a look.
