A Bug

It’s been such a mild winter that I’d almost forgotten the colds and flu that circulate at this time of year. It hardly seems like winter anyway, more like a chilly spring. I was reminded yesterday of how bad it can get, and I am hopeful (though less than confident), that I am on the mend.

I spent yesterday on the couch or in bed. Every muscle and joint was on fire, my forehead was hot and my hands and feet were ice cold. I don’t know what got me, but I am hopeful that it has let go at this point. I still feel less than 100%, but I hope I can build toward that number as the day progresses.

(No, the photo above is not me… yet.)
