To the snow
We’ll be heading up to the mountain a little later this week… doing a bit of xc skiing, snowshoeing and playing board games. Ideally, I’ll get enough material to write a few pieces for visitrainier.com, which would be great, since I haven’t done nearly enough along those lines lately. Beyond that, it’s really just a decompression time – getting over Christmas and getting ready for the year to come, which promises to be a busy one.
We’re staying at Whittaker’s Bunkhouse in Ashford. I’ve bought many a cup of coffee there but never spent the night. More on that later.
The plan is to try to get into Reflection Lakes… but you know what they say about plans.
