Curtain call

The premiere went well last night… a lot of friends I hadn’t seen in a while and some I met for the first time. For those who made it to the Grand, I just want to say “Thanks!” and I hope you had as much fun as we did. For those who were not able to attend, you were missed and I hope you get the opportunity to see the film soon.
The birds and the sea otter from the Slater Museum at UPS were a great addition to the lobby displays, as were Todd Fischer’s paintings and prints. Surfrider made some good new connections as well and got the chance to raffle off some great stuff. (The Todd Fischer original, “Pacific Coast Light,” was won by Ralph Harrison.)
There’s talk of another showing at the Grand early next year and the other dates for the film are starting to fill in. If you didn’t get the chance to come out last night, I hope we’ll see you soon.
