I’m out of here this morning for a 2-day paddle around Marrowstone Island. It’s a training seminar that I do each year for the sea kayaking trip leaders from Camp Seymour, out on the Key Peninsula. It’s always a good time and it’s usually a great learning experience for all involved. The weather is the wild card, as it always is, and I am going expecting a little of everything.
This is a new trip for them this year, a breaking out from their South Sound norms, as it were. New waters and new logistics… change is good, yes?
